What to Expect

We are a growing, multi-generational, interdenominational church in Montgomery TX. We desire to Love God (the Great Commandment), Grow Together (The Great Community), and Be The Church (The Great Commission)! Our heart and passion for unity comes from our being unapologetically Christ-centered. As an interdenominational Church, we seek to bridge our ancient faith with today’s modern world. God is moving in our midst as we celebrate and welcome new members, new baptisms, and new salvations year after year. Come be a part of this exciting local church.

Not a Resident of April Sound?

You’re not the only one! Many of our staff and members don’t live in the April Sound neighborhood. While April Sound Church is located in the gated community of April Sound, you don’t have to use the gate to come to church. We have a parking lot with an entrance right on 105 at the Church that’s open for everyone.

What’s happening at 9 AM?

In the Sanctuary

When you walk through the doors of our building, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly environment by people who are excited to meet you. We meet in our stained-glass sanctuary for a time of reverent and vibrant worship. Our messages are thoughtful, engaging, and biblically sound. All services are an hour long. You can also join us live on our Facebook page or YouTube Channel.

What’s happening at
10:30 AM?

In the Worship Center

Our 10:30 AM service is located on the upper floor of our newer building. Our building has elevator access and is wheelchair accessible. Food and drink are welcome into the more casual atmosphere of our worship center. You can expect meaningful liturgies, vibrant worship, and engaging preaching from the Bible. All services are an hour long. You can also join us live on our Facebook page or YouTube Channel.

Donuts & Coffee Between Services

There’s coffee and donuts between services in our Fellowship Hall. We’d love to have you join us for a treat and it’s a great opportunity to get to know someone. Around here, church coffee is the best coffee - locally roasted, ethically sourced, and freshly brewed. We’re passionate about what we do - right down to every cup of coffee we serve.

When should I get there?

We typically start right on time so it’s good to come a few minutes early (to get your bearings straight) or so that you can get your kids checked in. Running late? That’s okay too! We’ll see you when you get here.

What about Kids?

Our kids ministry is available at either service - 9AM or 10:30AM. Kids aren’t an afterthought at April Sound Church. As they say, “There is no junior Holy Spirit.” We know that kids were a priority for Jesus and they are for us too. Through worship songs, crafts, Bible teaching, and related activities, our teachers are committed to sharing the life-changing love of Jesus. Here, children have an opportunity to develop their faith, share God’s love with one another, and build lasting friendships! Parents and children love the fenced-in commercial grade playground in our backyard between services. We are committed to creating an atmosphere where your children feel safe, comfortable, cared, and encouraged to grow in their faith. All of our volunteers must pass a criminal background check. We would be happy to connect with you to answer any questions or concerns you have about our volunteer screenings and training process. To find out more about our kids ministry click HERE.

What about Youth?

Our middle school and high school teenagers typically join us for our 9AM Youth Group event, followed by coffee and donuts at 10:00AM and church service at 10:30AM. It’s a great morning to be a teenager at April Sound Church. Our Youth Pastor, Robert Harris leads our group and teaches a biblically sound lesson that’s engaging and relevant to the lives of your teens. To find out more about our youth ministry click HERE.
