If you have some stock you would like to donate to the church we would be blessed to receive it. It’s simple and easy. When you donate stock to a charity, you’ll generally take a tax deduction for the full fair market value. Your broker can contact the church and arrange to sell the shares and send the money to the church. You will receive a letter listing the stock and the amount received by the church for your taxes.
