April Sound Church is an Interdenominational Church located within the gates of the community of April Sound. The church was organized in 1976. As the community grew and the congregation increased a building was built. That first building was dedicated in 1980. In the late 1980's an expansion program was begun and the current facility was dedicated in 1990. We recently completed our new annex building with 12,000 square feet. We dedicated this building in February of 2002. One special outreach of the church is the "Helping Hands" program. Volunteers from the church dispense the Benevolence funds twice weekly to many needy families in the area. The funds for this program come primarily from donations by friends and members of the church and an annual golf tournament. The church supports several mission projects and offers fellowship and Bible Study opportunities.

DIRECTIONS FROM CONROE: Exit I-45 at the 105 exit
and go west on Highway 105. It is approximately 10 miles from the highway to April Sound, which is on the right side of 105. Turn right at the entrance to April Sound, go through the
guard gate and take the first left turn past the gate. That street is April Wind South and as
you follow it around you will see the church on the left side of the street. (Note:
